Overall experience was SUCH GREAT. Believe the reviews, everything was excellent. Got private bathroom with a tub. Beautiful style of the building was accompanied by the comfortable inner decor. Stunning location to the laguna.

we had a fantastic stay in bacalar so close to bacalar city center, and eating spots and tours. staff was attentive and helpful. there was a nice bathroom. thoroughly enjoyed lake view from the venue. location was amazing and particularly good, to the laguna.

We recently had a romantic escape and overall we had a pleasant stay. the room was clean and nicely designed, with a comfortable bed and a great view. We loved waking up to the beautiful scenery and the access to the water was a definite bonus. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with tips and recommendations for our stay.
Although we enjoyed our stay, there were a few drawbacks. the location was a bit far from the main center.

The location was perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to the water. The shared areas, like the hammocks and docks, were a delight to relax in. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially when it came to ordering food for us. The rooms were exactly as advertised, and the overall ambience of the place was even more excellent than we expected.
Though there were a few drawbacks, such as a leak in the room during rain and uncomfortable beds, these minor issues didn't overshadow the overall experience. We understand that the place is a bit out of town, but it was worth it for the fine surroundings and peaceful atmosphere.

Lovely room with lake view. Well-appointed with water and coffee provided. Enjoyed relaxing on the dock at night. Reception staff was friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer.
